The Centre for Applied African Microeconomic Research (CAAMER)

The School of Economics and Business Sciences (SEBS) is pleased to announce the establishment of the Centre for Applied African Microeconomic Research (CAAMER). The aim of the Centre is to conduct rigorous research on South African and African microeconomic issues. This includes firm and labour market dynamics, education, poverty and inequality. CAAMER has the capacity and expertise to collect primary data and one aim of the unit is to train postgraduate students and junior staff in data collection and analysis.
